Mysterious, magnificent Souled American started in Chicago, blending roots with rock to pioneer a style later called 'alternative country.' They recorded six legendary albums between 1988 and 1996 and then effectively vanished. They re-emerge in April 2026 with Sanctions, their first record in thirty years, launching their first US tour since 1991.
